Too late to be a pilot?
Afternoon all. For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a pilot in the RAF but due to personal circumstances and bad decisions in the past I’ve not been able to achieve this goal as of yet.
Of course, to be a pilot, you need quite a high level of education which I don’t have, in fact, I don’t have any GCSEs at all due to leaving school in year 10.
I’m currently 18 and the maximum applicant age for a pilot is 23 I believe. Would it be worth going back into education to get the relevant qualifications to pursue my dream or is it too late? If it isn’t too late, what subjects provide the fastest route to my goal, besides English and maths.
And if anyone has any tips or advice for me I’d appreciate it.
